As the weather turns and the days get shorter, we at arch.law sports continued to grow our talent roster and support our athletes across their different disciplines. From new signings to record-breaking performances and legal commentary in the media, we’ve been busy helping our athletes on and off the field.
Here are some of this month’s highlights:
New talent signings:
- We were pleased to welcome a new group of footballers to our arch.law sports team. Experienced left-back Jordan Marshall has won domestic titles in both Scotland and Wales and currently plays for Welsh champions, The New Saints. Promising goalkeeper Aaron Sings is part of the youth setup at Woking FC while getting valuable senior minutes at Met Police in Step 4. We are excited to see what the rest of the season has in store for them.
- Our managerial bench also continues to strengthen with the signing of Lewis Young, most recently at Dagenham and Redbridge. Lewis brings further experience from his time as assistant and caretaker manager at Crawley Town.
Here’s what our athletes have been up to this month:
- Goalkeeper Matt Rowley completed a loan move to Hampton & Richmond Borough, registering the club’s first clean sheet since August in only his second appearance as the club looks to build momentum in the National League South.
- Dan Hayfield and Torquay United continue to challenge at the top of the National League South. Dan played the full 90 minutes and registered an assist in a whopping 7-0 win against Eastbourne Borough – Torquay’s biggest win since 2018 and the most comprehensive victory in the National League South so far this season.
- It has also been a huge month for our HYROX athletes:
- Ciaran Parkinson has qualified for his second Men’s Elite 15 race of the season and took first place in Men’s Pro Doubles at Hyrox Bordeaux and second in Mixed Doubles at Hyrox Dublin.
- Lauren Richardson broke the HYROX Mixed Relay world record in Dublin by 11 seconds (49:06). This came just a month after setting the Hyrox Mixed Relay British record (49:57) in Birmingham last month!
- Dan Nota secured qualification for the Hyrox World Championships next year in both Men’s Pro and Mixed Doubles, underscoring his consistency across multiple formats.

- This month also saw the publication of a joint arch.law sports insight from Richard Cramer and Alexander Grantham on the proposed changes to the Premier League’s financial sustainability framework.
Where we’ve been:
Over the past few months, our team has been attending matches across the UK, from the glitz and glamour of the Champions League to grassroots academy football and non-League matches. There is talent at every level of the footballing pyramid.
