arch.law audit expands in UK and Canada

Legal business, arch.law, has announced the expansion of its specialist division, arch.law audit, strengthening its capacity in both Canada and the UK to support the growing demands of the insurance market.

The team has recently appointed:

  • Anthony Carreira, FCIP – has joined in Ontario. Anthony has a strong understanding of the North American TPA market and a wealth of practical claims expertise.
  • James Stewart, CIP – has joined in Quebec bringing a strong background in liability and claims management. James is bilingual and can assist with audits with Québec exposures, a growing requirement in the Canadian market.
  • Kay Godbold – has joined to support Leigh Jones, our Head of Client Relations, to provide additional resilience and enhance our client service delivery.

Working with the world’s leading insurance and reinsurance marketplace, arch.law audit brings an independent third-party perspective to Lloyd’s and London Market insurers. With teams in the UK, USA and Canada, arch.law audit offers technical insurance compliance across all classes of insurance and all territories.

Lana Daurie, Head of Audit Services, said: “The new roles in Canada support our continued growth in North America. The audit market is evolving, and much of our expansion has been driven by referrals here in Canada. Our clients recognise the strength of our people and the quality of our work, and that reputation has always provided new opportunities. We’re expanding the team to meet that demand with the depth and capability our clients expect – growth that has come organically through referrals and reputation, rather than active recruitment.”

John Davidson, Head of Audit, added: “At arch.law, we don’t hire auditors simply to grow the team—we wait for individuals with the right experience to join us. While expansion within the audit sector is an objective, we’re committed to growing in a way that never compromises the quality of the service we deliver. By bringing in auditors of exceptional calibre, we ensure that growth strengthens our capabilities rather than diluting them.”
