On Tuesday 2nd December, we swapped spreadsheets for score sheets and welcomed our clients to Steam Wine Bar for the arch.law audit charity quiz hosted by our very own quizmaster John Davidson, and his team of incredible assistants from arch.law audit.
The evening was in aid three fantastic charities: Young Lives vs Cancer, Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund. These three charities are close to the arch.law audit team’s heart with the team having witnessed the impact they have on the lives of others through the experience of our close friend Govind, and his wife Laura, when their little girl Reina was diagnosed with Cancer last year. Thanks to the outstanding care and support from these charities, Reina received the treatment she needed and today she’s thriving.
Through our clients who joined in with John’s formidable quiz, and our raffle and auction made possible by generous donations, we were able to raise in excess of £6,000 for these wonderful charities. The atmosphere was buzzing with friendly competition, plenty of good cheer and seeing teams huddle together debating answers over food and drink, reminded us how powerful community can be when we come together. A big shout out to the ‘Can’t BEAT, won’t be BEAT’ Beat team who will be the very first to win the coveted quiz trophy!
