Lucy Butler 

Lucy is a trainee solicitor supporting across a range of family law matters including divorce, financial remedy and child arrangement matters. Lucy also works on private client matters.  Alongside her role, she studied for her Postgraduate Diploma in Law at the University of Law and is now studying for her SQE2 exam as part of her LLM Legal Practice course and aims to qualify as a Family Law Solicitor.

Prior to starting her legal career, Lucy gained a degree in Journalism in 2015. Her interest in the legal profession was sparked after participating in court reporting and studying a media law module. Upon graduating, Lucy went into restaurant management to build on her transferable skills.

Lucy enjoys her role and she believes there is no greater job satisfaction than knowing you’ve helped someone through what are often very emotive cases, that need to be handled with care and empathy.
