John qualified in 2003. John works for Defendants defending claims for disease alleged to be caused by occupational exposure.
These claims include ‘long tail’ and ‘short tail’ disease. Long tail disease is caused by exposure to a noxious substance or harmful agent over many years. This includes asbestos, work related stress, vibration and noise. Short tail diseases such as asthma, RSI, Dermatitis are typically caused by shorter and more recent exposure.
John has defended many complex claims of this nature and has won all of his cases which went to trial.
