Atiyah has over 15 years’ experience as a regulatory and criminal defence solicitor. Her areas of specialism are health and safety, environmental, Inquests, motor/transport and all other associated regulatory defence work. She also has a passion for compliance work and is experienced in training clients to ensure they know what to do when things go wrong when a regulator is knocking at the door but, more importantly, how to avoid been in that situation in the first place. Atiyah has significant experience in a number of sectors including Construction, Manufacturing, Retail and the Public Sector. She has also been a regular commentator on regulatory issues writing in legal journals and speaking at national conferences. She has been involved in a number of high profile cases and is well versed in handling complex and sensitive matters. Her clients have included companies/boards of directors, individual directors and SMEs.
