As we count down to the formal launch of arch.law on March 1st, we wanted to provide some insight into the types of people that we are are looking for to join us on our journey.
arch.law is a digital first law firm, focused on delivering legal solutions differently. If you want to be a member of arch.law you have to share our belief that technology can help deliver a legal solution to clients more effectively. We do use the term “member” deliberately – we don’t believe in hierarchy for the sake of it – everyone is a member of our platform regardless of how they choose to work with us.
We have three different ways of working with arch.law:
arch.portfolio: if you have a proven track record of delivering great legal solutions for clients this could be the route for you. You have to have the right level of experience to take on the task of running your portfolio business and given that it is a paid when paid model, you need to be very confident about your ability to win work and generate clients. If you are, then the benefits are there for you – freedom to work how you went, when you want and from where you want but with the ability to generate significant financial returns from our revenue sharing scheme. We encourage our portfolio members to build out a cluster over time – employing more junior people within their portfolio business to enable them to scale – which allows them to access the higher increments of revenue share with up to 80% of revenue billed and paid at the highest increment coming back to the portfolio member;
arch.resource: this is the most flexible way of working with arch.law. Simply register as one of our resource professionals and you will be able to contract with our arch.portfolio members on an hourly or day rate basis to provide them with the support that they need. We don’t just recruit legally qualified people as arch.resource members – we recognise that our arch.portfolio members need support in all areas of their practice. arch.resource offers full flexibility to do as much or as little as you want;
arch.direct: we recognise that not everyone is ready to take the leap to build a portfolio business just yet. That’s why we will, on occasion, look to employ people directly to support them as they grow their business with a view to transitioning to arch.portfolio over time.
