Tom is a Chartered Governance Professional with the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland (CGI), bringing a strong academic and practical foundation in corporate governance, compliance, and company secretarial practice. He holds a BA (Hons) Business degree and an LLM Master’s degree in Corporate Governance and Law, equipping him with a deep understanding of governance frameworks across finance, law, regulation, and risk management.
With over ten years of experience working within governance, legal, and compliance teams, Tom has supported a broad range of organisations, with the majority of his experience rooted in the financial services sector. He has acted as Company Secretary for companies listed on the London Stock Exchange, including both AIM and Main Market entities, and is well versed in the regulatory and disclosure requirements applicable to listed companies.
Tom is highly experienced in project managing the year-end and interim financial statements process and has worked on a variety of corporate transactions, providing governance support throughout complex and time-sensitive matters. His advisory experience spans listed companies and large private entities, with a particular focus on governance projects, annual reports, and board services. Recognised for his commitment to best practice, Tom combines technical expertise with a practical, solutions-focused approach, helping boards and organisations maintain high standards of corporate governance and regulatory compliance in an evolving business environment.
