Jo is a Licensed Conveyancer and Licensed Probate Practitioner, who has been working in the legal profession since 2000 and first qualified in 2008.
Her expertise spans both residential conveyancing and commercial property matters, acting for private individuals, companies, Attorneys, Personal Representatives (Executors/Administrators), developers, Corporate Deputies and mortgage lenders.
She also advises on a range of private client matters, including Wills and Estate planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate/Grant application and Estate administration as well as certain Trust matters.
As a Commissioner for Oaths, Jo can administer Oaths and Affirmations, witness Statutory Declarations and provide independent legal advice where required – particularly where the lender’s or borrower’s lawyer is conflicted from doing so.
In 2024, Jo joined the Board of the Society of Licensed Conveyancers and is passionate about promoting high professional standards, supporting new lawyers and mentoring those entering the profession.
Jo is known for her technical expertise, pragmatic approach and excellent client care. Based in South Hams, Devon, she embraces digital technology to support clients worldwide, making legal services more accessible and approachable.
Jo has also been an Affiliate Member of the Devon and Somerset Law Society since 2012, a Member of the Society of Will Writers and Estate Planners since 2022 and a Member of the Institute of Legal Finance and Management since 2025.
