Lowndes joins with extensive experience across professional services, having held senior commercial and executive roles within private equity-backed and publicly listed organisations, including Lawfront and Knights plc. He has worked closely with leadership teams to develop and deliver growth strategies, with a particular focus on commercial development, revenue transformation and sustainable growth.
In his role at arch.law, Lowndes will work closely with the leadership team and members to help shape and execute the firm’s commercial revenue strategy. His remit will span revenue growth, strategic partnerships, client and referrer development, new market opportunities and the continued development of arch.law’s proposition.
The appointment reflects arch.law’s continued investment in the infrastructure underpinning its legal business – ensuring members are supported not only with legal and compliance frameworks, but also with the commercial capability required to build and grow successful practices.
Dan Lowndes said:
“arch.law has built a compelling proposition for experienced lawyers and professionals looking to develop their business with the right support around them. What stands out is the opportunity to bring greater structure and consistency to how revenue is generated across the business – while retaining the flexibility and entrepreneurial approach that attracts high-calibre lawyers and professionals.
“My focus will be on strengthening business development capability, supporting members to unlock new opportunities, and ensuring we have a clear, scalable approach to growth as the business continues to expand.”
Andrew Leaitherland, CEO of arch.law, added:
“Our focus has always been on creating an environment where talented lawyers and professionals can build sustainable, successful businesses. Dan’s appointment is a key part of that – bringing additional leadership around how we support growth across the business.
“He understands how to develop and embed effective commercial strategies within professional services organisations, and his experience will be instrumental as we continue to scale.”
Lowndes’ appointment follows a period of continued growth for arch.law, including expansion of its member base, its recent third acquisition and continued investment in its technology, people and international footprint.
