arch.law is seeking an organised and proactive Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join our growing Conveyancing Portfolio team, with a primary focus on post-completion work.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced post-completion assistant or paralegal looking to join a busy, supportive and professional team. Our post-completion processes are managed using InfoTrack, and experience of using this system would be advantageous, although training can be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist with all aspects of residential conveyancing post-completion work, including (but not limited to):

  • Preparing and submitting SDLT returns via InfoTrack.
  • Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications via InfoTrack.
  • Paying HMRC SDLT and Land Registry fees.
  • Preparing and lodging AP1 applications and supporting documentation.
  • Responding to Land Registry requisitions.
  • Dealing with Notices to Management Companies and Landlords where required.
  • Serving notices following completion where applicable.
  • Updating clients, lenders and introducers following registration.
  • Confirming registration has been completed and closing files.
  • Ensuring post-completion matters are progressed promptly and accurately.
  • Assisting fee earners with general conveyancing administration as required.
  • Providing support to the wider Conveyancing Department.
  • Assisting with answering incoming telephone calls and providing administrative support to the office when required.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience in residential conveyancing, particularly post-completion work.
  • Have experience using InfoTrack for SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications (preferred but not essential).
  • Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Be able to prioritise a busy workload and work to deadlines.
  • Have excellent communication and client care skills.
  • Be confident working both independently and as part of a team.

Previous post-completion experience is highly desirable; however, applications from candidates with residential conveyancing experience who are keen to develop in this area will also be considered.
