Our team of lawyers have worked together for a number of years, specialising in residential property work – with several years experience of delivering over 1,000 completions per year we have the knowledge and skill set to deliver effectively and eff ciently for our clients.

2. Investing in our technology
Client Onboarding

We recognise that this is often a pain point for our clients – the process of checking identity for anti money laundering purposes as well as just engaging with a firm of solicitors is often far more cumbersome than it needs to be.

We have streamlined this process massively to the benefit of our clients.

Our onboarding partner, Legl, will work with our clients to digitally conduct all checks that are required within days of sending out the onboarding link. Through this process, our client will be cleared both for anti money laundering and identity checking but also will be able to formally engage Arch Law Limited as their solicitors through electronic signature. This process with Legl is also applied to identifying source of funds later in the transaction when the client is looking to complete.

Matter Management System:

We recognise that in order to process a purchase quickly and efficiently, a workflow needs to be designed and built into the best technology platform. We work with our clients on each development to agree the most appropriate workflow and then build this into our preferred matter management system, Redbrick. This ensures that we are able to progress the matter as quickly and efficiently as possible.

At the start of each transaction our clients complete a mandate for our Go Cardless account which allows us to deduct our pre-agreed payments as we go along rather than our clients worrying about whether they are up to date or not. This provides full visibility and clarity on both sides.

SMS Notification
We recognise that there is nothing more frustrating than not knowing what is going on with a purchase. Our SMS notification service allows our clients to be notified on their mobile phone each time we hit a milestone in their purchase.
Online Access
Our clients can also obtain online access through our App to understand where their purchase is up to on any given day which allows for real time monitoring and feedback.

Lender panels
Some of our clients require mortgages to complete their purchases. We work with The Lender Exchange Network and LMS, two of the leading panel managers in the UK, to ensure that we can work with the vast majority of UK based lenders to enable access to funds for our clients.
Quality Assurance
The Law Society operate an accreditation scheme called the Conveyancing Quality Scheme which provides a recognised quality standard for residential conveyancing practices. We are accredited through this scheme which provides assurance of quality to our clients.

Martin heads Arch Investment Acquisitions, a specialist team of lawyers and legal advisors providing property investment acquisition services to world-wide Buy-to-Let investors in the UK. Martin is dual qualified in Scotland and England, so can provide a one-shop stop for clients who wish to invest in or develop Property on either side (or both sides) of the border.  Relentlessly commercially-focused, Martin and his team will always tailor their approach to your transactional aims. A proud husband and father, Martin’s wider interests include coaching, mentoring and workplace mental health (having become a qualified Mental Health First Aid practitioner in 2018).
